I Hid It

It is gone now
because you
should not know,
that is better.
It is not a lie
but it is a secret.
is better
as a secret.
It is not
that I am 
protecting myself
or deceiving you,
but I worry
it would be
upsetting to you.
That is the problem.
It is not hidden
from you
to benefit me.
It is for you.
Believe me.
You can trust me,
I am not telling you
because that is better.
